Profiles

The Profiles page allows network administrators or operators to configure and manage Port profiles and RADIUS profiles within a site. This centralized interface simplifies profile management by ensuring that any changes made to a profile are automatically applied to all ports, networks, and devices using 802.1X authentication that are associated with the respective Port Profile or RADIUS profile.

This section outlines the necessary features and functionality of these profiles including profile creation, configuration, and management across various system components.

To access the Profiles page, select Profiles from the left navigation pane. The profile page consists of the following components:

  • Ports—Port Profiles are reusable configuration that defines a set of settings applied to one or more network ports. They enable the administrators to standardize and simplify the deployment of common port configurations across multiple interfaces. You can create up to 32 port profile.

For more information, see Ports Profile Page.

  • RADIUS—A RADIUS profile is a predefined set of configuration parameters used to integrate a network device with a RADIUS server for authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services. You can create up to 16 RADIUS profile per site. Each device supports only one RADIUS profile for port 802.1X authentication.

For more information, see RADIUS Profile Page.
