Viewing VPN Clients

The VPN Client details page provides detailed information about clients connected to the VPN network.

You cannot block the VPN client.

VPN clients include laptops, personal computers, tablets, mobile phones, etc. that connect to the Instant On network through a VPN tunnel.

To view the VPN client details page for a specific client, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the Clients () tile on the Instant On home page. The Clients page is displayed.
  2. Select a VPN client from the list of Connected clients. The Clients Details page for the VPN client is displayed.

Column Label

Description

Identification

Hostname

Displays the hostname of the client.

Health

Displays the health status of the connected clients:

  • Good —Indicates that the health of the client is good.
  • Fair — Indicates that the health of the client is fair.
  • Poor — Indicates that the health of the client is poor.

State

Denotes the state of the connected client, whether Online or Offline.

Online Since

Displays the time since the client is connected to the network. You can click on the View client configuration to view the client configuration details page.

Connectivity

IP Address

The IP address of the client.

Remote IP Address

The IP address of the remote server.

Remote Port

The port number used by the VPN client to connect to the remote server.

Connection

Network

The network to which the client is connected. Clicking on the network name will take you to the Network Details page.

Device

The network device to which the client is connected. Clicking on the device name will take you to the Device Details page.

Port Usage

Downloading at

The download throughput of the device in the last 30 seconds, in kilobits per second.

Uploading at

The upload throughput of the device in the last 30 seconds, in kilobits per second.
